Decks have proper rails and seating, the skipper briefs everyone before departure, and correctly sized lifejackets are on board, including for children. A catamaran is the steadiest pick if the guest list spans nine to ninety — twin hulls barely roll — and morning slots have the calmest water of the day. The swim stop is optional per person: swimmers swim, everyone else supervises from the shade with a drink.

Up to 12 on a standard charter — that number is a Spanish maritime threshold, not our choice, and the skipper and crew do not count towards it, so all twelve seats are for your guests. Bigger birthdays run two boats side by side along the front, which works surprisingly well — the party regroups at the swim stop.
