Barcelona's convention bureau data shows the typical congress delegate is visiting from abroad, stays around four nights, and — in three cases out of four — extends the trip beyond the meeting itself. Inside the port, loudspeakers are only permitted inside premises, so boarding music is acoustic-level and the system comes up once you clear the breakwater. Out on the water, Barcelona's noise ordinance treats vessels as regulated sound emitters and measures compliance at the nearest residential façade — so the skipper holds volume down when close off Barceloneta and gives the party its headroom further offshore. For a corporate format — conversation, dinner jazz, one speech — none of this ever binds. It only matters if someone was planning a floating nightclub, and then it matters a great deal.

The official bathing season is 1 June to 30 September; the sea reaches about 21 °C in June and 24 °C in August, and the stop happens offshore in open water, away from the shoreline. On water quality, the honest brief: seven of the city's nine beaches rate Excellent, two rate Good, and after heavy rain the skipper consults PlatgesCat — the water agency's free daily report — before choosing the spot. Swimming is always optional per person; the deck, the shade and the bar remain fully staffed for the abstainers.

You tell us the date, headcount, format and budget band; we come back with specific vessels and an itemised written quote — charter, crew, catering, bar, extras, each on its own line, with VAT included in the totals so procurement is not surprised later. We hold provisional options during internal sign-off where availability allows, invoice to the company with proper documentation, and confirm the operational details in writing the week of the event.
