Up to 12 guests on a standard charter boat — that number is Spanish maritime law, not our policy: a vessel carrying more than 12 passengers is reclassified as a passenger ship under a far stricter regime. The skipper and crew do not count towards the 12, so you lose no seats to the people working the boat. For bigger birthdays we either use a vessel certified for more, where available, or run two boats side by side — which, for family parties, conveniently maps onto the generation split anyway.

In practice this means the skipper anchors on clean sand in a sheltered cove, the ladder goes down, and the water your guests jump into is exactly as clear as those rules are designed to keep it.
