Leaving the city marina
Meet at the Marina Deportiva — 744 berths, at the foot of the old town, no transfer required. Briefing, cooler loaded, out past the harbour wall. Music on once we are clear, and the city starts shrinking behind you within minutes.
Under the castle
Along the base of Mount Benacantil with Santa Bárbara castle 166 metres above you. Get everyone to the rail on the southwest side for La Cara del Moro — the warrior's face in the rock. It faces the sea, so this is the only way to see it properly, and it reliably shuts a boat up for about thirty seconds.
Swim stop in the bay
Engines off, ladder down, music up. The skipper picks the spot based on the day's wind rather than a fixed plan, which is the advantage of a private boat over a timetabled cruise. Snorkels are on board if anyone wants them.
The run home
Back in with the light going gold on the castle and the old town lighting up under it. Last swim for anyone still in the mood, then straight off the pontoon and into town — the Explanada is right there, and the night is somebody else's problem.

It depends entirely on the boat, and every boat has a legal capacity we do not exceed. Small groups of six to eight fit comfortably on a motorboat or a smaller catamaran; larger groups take a bigger boat. Alicante helps here — the Marina Deportiva takes vessels up to 60 metres, so the fleet is not capped the way it is in the small harbours up the coast. Tell us how many of you there are and we will show you what fits.
At the Marina Deportiva de Alicante or the Real Club de Regatas next door, both at the foot of the old town. This is one of the few ports on the Costa Blanca where the marina is in the city rather than a drive away, so most groups just walk down. You get the exact pontoon with your confirmation.
Yes to both. Connect your phone to the sound system and play whatever you like. Bring your own drinks and use the coolers on board, or ask us to stock the boat before you arrive. We will ask you to keep glass to a minimum for obvious reasons, and the skipper always has the final word on volume.
The standard run is out past the harbour wall and along the castle rock — including the seaward side of Benacantil for La Cara del Moro, which you cannot see from land — then a swim stop in the bay wherever the water is best on the day. It is your charter, so the route is flexible. Tabarca is possible, but at roughly 11.9 nautical miles each way it is a full-day yacht charter rather than a party trip; most groups would rather have the hours in the water than in transit.
The season runs June to October, when the sea is above 20°C — August is warmest at around 26°C. Mornings tend to be flatter and sunset trips are the prettiest, especially with the castle lighting up as you come back in. Tell us your dates and we will tell you which slot suits your group.
Close to the coast in summer the water is usually calm, and the swim stops are in sheltered spots. If seasickness is a worry, take a catamaran — twin hulls barely move compared with a monohull — and stay in the bay rather than heading offshore. Tell us when you book and the skipper will plan around it.
We reschedule or refund. Nobody wants a party boat in a swell, so if the forecast is wrong for it, the skipper calls it and you choose a new date or take your money back. Alicante does get a lot of good weather in season — but when it does not, we do not pretend otherwise.
