Private Party Boat Hire on the Costa Blanca

Boat Party Benidorm — Your Group, Your Boat

Your people, your playlist, your day. Out along the bay with the skyline behind you and swim stops off Isla de Benidorm.

Boat Party in Benidorm

A private charter built around your group — not a ticketed booze cruise.

Benidorm is the big-group town on this coast, and we will not pretend otherwise — it is genuinely good at it. Stag dos, hen parties, birthdays, twelve mates who all booked separate flights: the boats, the timings and the transfers exist here because the demand does. A boat party with us is a private hire, though. The boat belongs to your group for the trip. You bring the playlist, we bring the boat, the skipper and the sound system. No strangers on deck, no fixed script.

Two honest notes. First, you do not leave from Benidorm — its own port is a club harbour capped at 8 metres, so no party boat can berth there. You leave from Marina Greenwich in Altea, roughly 11 km up the coast, and we tell you exactly how to get there. Second, ignore anything you have read about Spain's party-boat ban: the one-mile rule is Balearic law and has nothing to do with the Costa Blanca. That said, this is not a lawless bay either — the Serra Gelada park's speed and anchoring rules bind every boat afloat, party or not, and our skippers keep to them.

What's Included

Everything you need for a day on the water.

Sound System

Connect your own phone and play your own playlist. On the larger boats we can arrange a DJ setup on request.

Swim Stops

We stop where the water is best and where we are allowed to stop. Swim ladder or platform, snorkelling gear on board, and a skipper who picks the calmest spot on the day.

Drinks & Cooler

Coolers with ice on board. Bring your own drinks, or ask us to stock the boat before you arrive — just tell us what your group likes.

Skipper & Crew

A local skipper who runs this bay all season, plus crew on the bigger boats. You look after the party; they look after the boat.

The Route

What the day actually looks like.

Leaving Marina Greenwich

Meet in Altea, quick briefing, cooler loaded, away. It is a proper marina — 543 berths, fuel, 24-hour staff — which is why the boats live here and not in Benidorm. Music on as soon as we are clear of the harbour.

The skyline run

Southwest down the coast until the towers come up: 31 buildings over 100 metres, Intempo at 202 and 47 floors, the Gran Hotel Bali at 186. Running a few hundred metres off Levante and Poniente with that behind you is the photo the whole group came for. Nobody on the beach has this angle.

Isla de Benidorm and La Llosa

The island 1.85 miles offshore — 350 by 260 metres, 73 metres high, lighthouse on top. Main swim stop at the designated anchoring zone, chosen because it is sand rather than posidonia. La Llosa reef is 300 metres south at about seven metres depth if anyone wants a snorkel. Point the group at Puig Campana on the way and ask them why it has a notch in it.

The run home

Back up the coast with the light going and the towers lighting up behind you. Last swim for anyone still in the mood, volume back up once we are out of the protected zones, and into Altea in time for the evening.

What a Boat Party in Benidorm Costs

Private hire, priced by boat and by day — not per head at the gate.

Because every boat party we run for Benidorm is a private charter, the price depends on the boat, the size of your group, the length of the trip and the date. Smaller groups often work best on a motorboat or a catamaran for a few hours; the bigger groups this town is famous for take a larger boat for the day. July and August cost more than May or October. Tell us your numbers and your date and we will send a real quote with everything itemised — no per-head surprises when you step aboard.

Boat Party Benidorm — Frequently Asked Questions

Private. When you book a boat party with us, that boat is yours for the trip — your group only. No ticketed strangers, no fixed playlist, no schedule imposed on you. It costs a little more per head than a mass-market booze cruise and it is a completely different day out.

No, and this is the one bit of admin worth reading. Benidorm's own harbour is a small club port — 110 berths, nothing longer than 8 metres, 2.5 metres of draft — so no party boat can physically berth there. You depart from Marina Greenwich in Altea, about 11 km up the coast: a short taxi, or drive and park. We send the exact meeting point when you book. Build fifteen minutes into your morning and it is a non-issue.

Yes. The party-boat crackdown people have read about — the one-mile rule — is Balearic legislation and does not apply on the Costa Blanca. So no, there is no ban. But "legal" is not the same as "anything goes": inside the Serra Gelada natural park the speed limits and anchoring rules apply to every boat regardless of what is happening on deck, and our skippers keep to them. Outside the protected zones, enjoy yourselves.

It depends entirely on the boat, and every boat has a legal capacity we do not exceed. Groups of six to eight fit comfortably on a motorboat or a smaller catamaran; larger groups take a bigger boat. Benidorm groups are usually on the big side — tell us how many of you there really are and we will show you what fits, and be honest if your number means stepping up a size.

Yes to both. Connect your phone to the sound system and play whatever you like. Bring your own drinks and use the coolers on board, or ask us to stock the boat before you arrive. We will ask you to keep glass to a minimum for obvious reasons, and the skipper always has the final word on volume inside the park's protected zones.

The standard run is down the coast for the skyline, then out to Isla de Benidorm for the main swim stop, with La Llosa reef 300 metres south of it if anyone wants to snorkel. It is your charter, so the route is flexible. The parts that are not flexible: anchoring only at the designated sandy-bottom zones, 3 knots inside the special marine protection zones and 12 elsewhere in the park, and no anchoring on posidonia — the regional Fondea app shows where that rules you out.

Close to the coast in summer the water is usually calm, and the swim stops are in sheltered spots. If seasickness is a worry, take a catamaran — twin hulls barely move compared with a monohull — and go in the morning. Tell us when you book and the skipper will plan around it. The island also gives you somewhere to tuck in behind if it gets lumpy.

We reschedule or refund. Nobody wants a party boat in a swell, so if the forecast is wrong for it, the skipper calls it and you choose a new date or take your money back. The season runs June to October and this bay gets a lot of good weather in it — but when it does not, we do not pretend otherwise.
