Private Party Boat Hire on the Costa Blanca

Boat Party Calpe — Your Own Floating Party

Your group, your music, your boat. Out of the Real Club Nautico de Calpe with 332 metres of limestone standing over every photograph you take.

Boat Party in Calpe

A private charter built around your group — not a ticketed booze cruise.

A boat party in Calpe is a private hire: the boat belongs to your group for the trip. You bring the playlist, we bring the boat, the skipper and the sound system. No strangers on deck, no fixed script — just your people, the coast, and a backdrop that does not need any help.

That backdrop is the reason people pick Calpe over the neighbouring towns. The Penyal d'Ifac is 332 metres of limestone on a narrow isthmus, a natural park since January 1987. Climbing it means booking four days ahead for one of 300 daily places. Your group does not have to do any of that — we leave from the Real Club Nautico de Calpe, 264 berths across seven docks, and the rock is in front of you within minutes.

What's Included

Everything you need for a day on the water.

Sound System

Connect your own phone and play your own playlist. On the larger boats we can arrange a DJ setup on request.

Swim Stops

We stop where the water is best. Swim ladder or platform, snorkelling gear on board, and a skipper who picks the calmest spot on the day.

Drinks & Cooler

Coolers with ice on board. Bring your own drinks, or ask us to stock the boat before you arrive — just tell us what your group likes.

Skipper & Crew

A local skipper who runs this coast all season, plus crew on the bigger boats. You look after the party; they look after the boat.

The Route

What the day actually looks like out of Calpe.

Leaving the Real Club Nautico de Calpe

Meet at the club — 264 berths across seven docks, boats up to 30 metres, 6.5 metres of draft at the entrance — quick briefing, cooler loaded, away. There is a working fishing port next door, which is a decent reminder that this is a real town, not a set.

Under the Penyal d'Ifac

Five minutes out and it stops being a landmark and becomes a wall. Three hundred and thirty-two metres of limestone, natural park since 1987, joined to the land by an isthmus you can only really see from here. Everyone takes the same photo. Everyone is right to.

Along the coast

Then out along the coast — Cala El Racó, Les Bassetes, down towards the Morro de Toix — with the first proper swim stop wherever the water is best that day. Music on, snorkels out. The anchor goes down where the skipper says, because anchoring over posidonia is prohibited and the mapped zones are not negotiable.

The run home

Back in with the west face of the rock going gold, a last swim for anyone still in the mood, and into port in time for the evening.

What a Boat Party in Calpe Costs

Private hire, priced by boat and by day — not per head at the gate.

Because every boat party in Calpe is a private charter, the price depends on the boat, the size of your group, the length of the trip and the date. Smaller groups often work best on a motorboat or a catamaran for a few hours; bigger groups take a larger boat for the day. Tell us your numbers and your date and we will send you a real quote with everything itemised — no per-head surprises when you step aboard.

Boat Party Calpe — Frequently Asked Questions

Private. When you book a boat party in Calpe with us, that boat is yours for the trip — your group only. No ticketed strangers, no fixed playlist, no schedule imposed on you. It costs a little more per head than a mass-market booze cruise and it is a completely different day out.

It depends entirely on the boat, and every boat has a legal capacity we do not exceed. Small groups of six to eight fit comfortably on a motorboat or a smaller catamaran; larger groups take a bigger boat. Tell us how many of you there are and we will show you what fits — and be honest if your number means stepping up a size.

Yes to both. Connect your phone to the sound system and play whatever you like. Bring your own drinks and use the coolers on board, or ask us to stock the boat before you arrive. We will ask you to keep glass to a minimum for obvious reasons, and the skipper always has the final word on volume.

You see it from the water, at length, and it is the reason most groups book here. What we will not do is promise you a specific anchoring spot or a lap of the rock, because we cannot verify what applies in the water right at it and we would rather under-promise. The thing that is certain is the view — 332 metres of it, with no turnstile, no 300-person daily cap and no booking made four days in advance. Those apply to the climb, not to you.

The Real Club Nautico de Calpe: 264 berths across seven docks, boats up to 30 metres LOA, 6.5 metres of draft at the entrance. It is the town's charter base. Puerto Blanco, the other harbour, runs 122 berths for boats of 6 to 14 metres — smaller craft, not party boats. Your confirmation will tell you exactly which dock to walk to.

One that matters and that most visiting boats get wrong: anchoring over Posidonia oceanica is prohibited across the Valencian coast under regional law. The rule was suspended until the seabed cartography was approved, which made it enforceable from early July 2023, and the mapped zones are public on the regional Fondea app and the visor.gva.es viewer. Our skippers plan the swim stops around them. It changes nothing about your day except where the anchor goes down.

Close to the coast in summer the water is usually calm, and the swim stops are in sheltered spots. If seasickness is a worry, take a catamaran — twin hulls barely move compared with a monohull — and go in the morning before the afternoon breeze fills in. Tell us when you book and the skipper will plan around it.

We reschedule or refund. Nobody wants a party boat in a swell, so if the forecast is wrong for it, the skipper calls it and you choose a new date or take your money back. Calpe gets a lot of good weather in season — but when it does not, we do not pretend otherwise.
